Blue Link Now Offers SaaS (Cloud) Software Deployment
Blue Link offers new avenue to software development: Software-as-a-Service

Concord, Ontario, Canada – Monday January 10, 2011 – In 2010 Blue Link officially launched their new Software-as-a-service (SaaS / cloud computing) deployment method. This new service complements their existing On-Premises model, pushing Blue Link to be competitive with both hosted and on-premise solutions. Offering both deployment methods allows for greater flexibility and more options for customers.
"We began considering offering SaaS some time ago," Mark Canes, President of Blue Link explains. "With the recent upsurge in demand for SaaS as an option, we figured now would be a good time to launch it. "
Many software vendors provide one method or the other and argue vigorously about which option is better. "Sometimes the customer's needs are lost in that struggle, " Darren Myher, VP Operations of Blue Link continues. "Offering both methods allows us to work with our customers to help decide which option is best for them as each method has its advantages and disadvantages. "
Blue Link's first SaaS customer went live in the 4th quarter of 2010. After their successful implementation Blue Link is preparing to transition a number of existing clients to SaaS as well as sign new clients onto the SaaS model.
