0:00 – 0:17 In this video, we're going to show you how Blue Links controlled substance ordering system provides your customers the ability to create and submit a sales order containing schedule 2 products without the need to manually submit DEA form 222.
0:18 – 0:33 To you use CSOS with Blue Link you must already be using our online order portal and have the CSOS component enabled. To enter the online order portal, your customer will need to log in with a valid username and password assigned by you.
0:34 – 1:01 Once logged into the portal, your customer can either upload and save a copy of their DEA certificate for future use, or they can upload the certificate each time they want to submit a sales order that contains a schedule 2product. In either case, they will be required to enter their certificate password every time as required by the DEA. Once your customer submits their order, it gets automatically sent to Blue Link ERP for processing.
1:17 – 1:37 The reference number of the CSOS order is automatically entered into the form field of the sales order. This is the reference that will be used for CSOS reporting to the DEA. Using Blue Links online order portal allows your customer to submit a single order that contains both controlled and non-controlled products, including schedule 2 items.
1:38 – 2:04 Once the order is processed and shipped to the customer, when the customer receives the order, they can go back into the online sales Portal and acknowledge receipt of the products that they’ve received. A CSOS report can be generated and automatically uploaded to the DEA reporting portal, and that's how you use Blue Links controlled substance ordering system.
