Food Logistics Names Blue Link to its 2021 Top Software & Technology Providers Award

Blue Link ERP is excited to be recognized by Food Logistics’ 2021 Top Software & Technology Providers Award for our food and beverage distribution software. Managing and tracking expiry dates and lot numbers is important to ensure the best quality goods are going out at the appropriate time.  Especially when dealing with refrigerated items, warehouse management plays a large factor in how quickly an order is able to move out.  In the cold food and beverage industry, zone picking assigns order pickers to a specific warehouse zone who are then responsible for picking all the SKU’s located in that particular zone for any given order. Managing lot numbers with Blue Link’s ERP software is useful as it allows for the picker to become very familiar with the product and their zone and thus reduced pick times.

We want to thank and congratulate the other vendors on the list who contribute to the safety and support of the cold food and beverage industry. See below for the full press release.
